Walk in the Woods was inspired by my many camping trips this year. I loved the layered, changing colors of the forest and the way mossy greens, warm earth tones and unexpected flashes of colors kept delighting me as I hiked through the MD trails  

This one-of-a-kind dresser was hand-painted using Tanglewood Sue-per Shifting  waxes in a sophisticated palette of green, gold and russet with just a hint of aubergine. The finish changes subtly with the light and viewing angle, allowing different tones to come forward throughout the day.

Although the finish is full of dimension and movement, the overall palette remains beautifully neutral. The earthy greens, warm metallic golds and rich russet tones allow Walk in the Woods to work with a wide variety of decor, from traditional and vintage-inspired interiors to eclectic, maximalist and contemporary spaces.
