I was painting my studio floors while also working on hand painting my candle line with individual alcohol jars. It was kinda like a Reeses peanut butter cup moment when I started playing around with using my leftover floor paints and combining them with the iridescent inks. I had so much fun I created my own colors using a variety of mica powders on hand. 

Water soothes me so I'm always drawn to reinventing ways to represent the turbulence and the calm.
